CLARK, NJ – For the
first time since finishing 11-10 in the 2004 season, the Johnson Crusaders reached double figures in overall victories by
recording win number ten with a 4-1 victory over Oratory at the JTC on Thursday afternoon.
Johnson, who defeated Oratory at the JTC back on April 3rd by the score of
4-1 in the season and home opener, swept Oratory for the second straight season. The Crusaders also clinched at least a .500
record in Mountain Valley Conference play for the first time since finishing as conference runners-up in 2003.
Up next, the Blue and White will take part in the NJSIAA State Team Tournament
for the eighth straight season. The sixth seeded Crusaders will travel to the third seed, the Manasquan Warriors, on Monday
afternoon. Time and location are TBD.
