Assistant/JV Coach (Kean, 2002)

Chris Raguseo begins his second stint with Arthur L Johnson as an assistant coach for the Crusaders Boys’ Tennis Team. Raguseo will lead the junior varsity program, in their first full season of competition.

At Johnson, Raguseo helped lead the Blue and White to an 11-10 overall record and a fifth straight NJSIAA State Tournament berth during the 2004 season. Raguseo took over for Ralph Johnson and led the Crusaders to their fourth straight winning season, becoming only the second coach in team history to post a winning record in his first season at the helm.

Raguseo has also served as Johnson’s Girls’ Head Tennis Coach for the last six seasons, and has won back to back Mountain Valley Conference Mountain Division Championships as the head coach for the Johnson Girls’ Basketball team.

Prior to his arrival at Johnson, Raguseo served as an assistant coach for the Immaculata High School boys’ tennis team. The 2002 Kean University graduate also played two years of high school varsity tennis at Carteret High School in New Jersey. Raguseo currently serves as a physical education teacher at Valley Road Elementary School in Clark.
