Ginocchio, a three year letterwinner, enters his fourth season with Johnson Tennis in 2008... Should continue to push toward the top of Johnson’s singles ranks...Attends the Union County Magnet High School...Was named one of the first annual Ralph Johnson Coaches Award Winners for his contributions, dedication, sportsmanship, and teamwork with the Johnson Tennis program in 2007.

2007 (JUNIOR):

Came back after dropping the first set to defeat Andrew Topazio of Oratory 5-7, 6-4, 6-0 on 4/3/07... Started the season 5-0, passing Mike Monagle from 2002, for the best start to a season for a Johnson third singles player...Played in the longest match at the 2007 Union County Tournament, a two hour and 45 minute marathon against Robert Krebner of Dayton...Placed seventh in the 2007 Union County Tournament at third singles...Served as team tri-captain for the 2007 season...Named first annual Ralph Johnson Coaches Award winner.

2006 (SOPHOMORE):

Earned first career singles win in Johnson’s 2006 season opener at 3rd singles against Elmer Mayorga of North Plainfield 6-1, 6-0...Competed in the Union County Tournament against Elish Le of Governor Livingston.

2005 (FRESHMAN):

Won first career match on 4/1/05 in ALJ’s season opening victory over North Plainfield. With second doubles partner James Villari, defeated the Canucks 6-4, 6-1...Won a clutch 6-4, 6-4 second doubles match over Roselle Park, with Villari, to clinch ALJ’s 3-2 victory on 4/5/05...Made first doubles debut on 4/12/05, with partner Alex D’Amico in a loss to Rahway...Ginocchio was 5-3 at second doubles with Villari...Ginocchio and Villari were named to the All-MVC-Mountain Division 2nd team for second doubles...The pair went 2-3 in MVC Mountain Division play at second doubles, with the wins coming on a three set, comeback win over Oratory, 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 and an upset win over New Providence, 7-6(2), 6-2.
