Monagle enters his third season with the Johnson Tennis program in 2008...Comes in off back to back 10+ win seasons at doubles in 2006 and 2007...Part of the first Johnson doubles team to qualify for the State Doubles Tournament...Brother, Mike, was a four time Johnson Tennis letterwinner (2002-05), 2005 team MVP, and finished with 57 career wins - 5th most in Johnson Tennis history.

2007 (JUNIOR):

Entered 2007 with more wins in the previous season (10) than any other returning Johnson player...With partner, James Villari, got off to the best start for a first doubles team in Johnson Tennis history by winning their first five matches of the season...Finished seventh in the 2007 Union County Tournament at first doubles...Became part of the first Johnson doubles team ever to qualify for the State Doubles Tournament. Villari and Monagle finished with an 8-3 record at the May 1st deadline...Named to the MVC Mountain Division All-Conference team for the second consecutive season, at first doubles, with James Villari.

2006 (SOPHOMORE):

Monagle won his first career varsity match on 4/4/06 against North Plainfield, at second doubles, with partner Alex D’Amico 6-3, 6-2...Monagle and D’Amico won a clutch second doubles match 6-0, 6-0 on 4/6/06 to clinch the meet for Johnson over Roselle Park...On 4/11/06, won a clutch second doubles match 6-4, 6-4, with partner Joe Broccoli to clinch the meet for Johnson over Rahway...Monagle and D’Amico finished in 7th place in the 2006 UCT at second doubles...With D’Amico, won a clutch super tiebreaker 3rd set (10-3) on 5/12/05 at Oratory to clinch the win for the Crusaders, and end a 12 match division losing streak...Monagle and D’Amico were named to the 2006 All-MVC Mountain Division Second team for Second Doubles.

2005 (FRESHMAN): Did Not Play...Member of Johnson Golf Team.
